"A Day in September"
When I got off the bus that Tuesday at three
My mother stared with a glare at me
I wasn't sure what was the matter
Until I heard the news with a clatter
Everybody was circled around the TV
Everybody had bad looks on their faces except for me
That's how I felt on that day in September
That will certainly be a day to remember
