The Class of 2006 has never been defeated in a schoolwide competition. We have won the Santa Fund for all four years at the high school, as well as numerous can drives and fundraising efforts for Hurricane Katrina.2. We were also the first class in the school to have their own field day. Sophomore year a group of students organized Field Day over the summer. The whole class participated in this event in October. It was a great success and students enjoyed the day off from school! Since this event, we also have started many other traditions at the high school. We were the first class to have an MCAS ice cream social. We also were the first class to have a free class breakfast our Junior Year. The Class of 2006 also created the tradition of the Santa Letter Fundraiser. We have been a great role model to the underclassmen.3. The Class of 2006 has come a long way since freshman year. We have greatly matured as a class from an incident that occured our first year at the high school. Our class was kicked out of the pep rally for throwing paper at our first school event. After a talk from Principal Anderson, our class united and has never been kicked out of a pep rally since then. This year at the pep rally, we showed our spirit. We won the competition of who could sing the School Song the loudest. Our class has grown into a group of spirited students who show their appreciation for Andover High School.
