Detectives Ken Ryan and Joseph Fitzgerald traveled to Lowell General Hospital to speak to the alleged victim after police received a call from staff there at 2:49 p.m. that they were treating a woman who said she had been raped in Gloucester. Additional details were unavailable yesterday evening.
