Sept. 4 -- Salisbury's Old Fashioned Day on the town green in Salisbury Square. The days feature arts and crafts, games and other attractions for kids of all ages.

Sept. 5 -- Waterfront Concert Series, "The Big and Phat Big Band." 4-6 p.m. Newburyport Waterfront.

Sept. 5 and 6 -- Buskers Festival, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entertainers of all kinds roving through downtown Newburyport and Market Square. Specialty food by Newburyport restaurants. Call Chamber of Commerce for information at (978) 462-6680.
