SALISBURY — Fireworks, pop bands, food, amusement parks and five miles of beautiful sandy beach will greet visitors at Salisbury Beach once again this summer.

The local Chamber of Commerce schedules top entertainment and daily activities at this charming seaside town that has been luring families for generations.

New to the Broadway Mall, where Giuseppe’s used to be, is a restaurant with an outdoor cafe, said Chamber President, Maria Miles. Construction is ongoing but should be completed in time for the summer crowds.

“It will be nice for people to walk around outside and look at the water,” she said.

Other attractions include antique shops, dollhouse makers, fine seafood restaurants and other eateries, Joe’s Playland, Pirate’s Fun Park, Carefree Arcade, lounges, a golf course and specialty shops.
