New England Pirate Museum, 274 Derby St., (978) 741-2800. Featuring a dockside village, pirate ship, 80-foot pirate’s cave and 60 life-sized pirates. Open seven days a week, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission $6 for adults, $4 for children 4 to 13, and $5 for seniors. Combination ticket also available with Witch Dungeon and Witch History Museum.

Salem Museum of Myths and Monsters, 57 Wharf St., Pickering Wharf, (978) 745-7283. Tour is a 12-minute haunted walk with live scares and fully animated monsters and creatures. Salem Wax Museum of Witches and Seafarers, 288 Derby St., (978) 740-2929. A self-guided tour of a century of Salem’s maritime history and witchcraft hysteria.
